Manufacturers Represented
The following is a list of the manufacturers we represent under this category of Rigging Equipment. The information and pictures used come from their catalogs and/or websites.
-
Chain Slings
Grade 80 alloy chain slings combine superior strength, ease of handling and durability. The combination of heavy loads, high temperatures and severe lift conditions usually dictate that an alloy chain sling be used.
-
Web Slings
Nylon and Polyester Slings are used where loads must be protected from damage. The lift weight and flexibility of these slings reduce fatigue and strain on riggers. Not to be used in high temperature applications.
-
Pac-Flex (special mesh)
Pac-Flex® slings are specified for multiple lifting uses in metalworking and other applications where the loads are abrasive, hot or will tend to cut other types of slings. Pac-Flex fills a niche that web slings cannot fill.
-
Wire Mesh Slings
WIRE MESH SLINGS are widely used in metalworking shops and steel warehouses where loads are abrasive, hot or tend to cut web slings. Made of 10 Gage - Heavy Duty wire mesh, they come in widths ranging from 2" to 20" and lengths ranging from a minimum of 3' to whatever length your application might require.
-
Hoist Rings
American's Safety Engineered Hoist Rings have been design tested. All Parts are made form highest quality materials and are heat treated to certified specifications. Adopt American's new Safety Engineered Hoist Rings as your standard lifting device.
-
Eye Bolts
Also see HOIST RING for angular lifts using eyebolts
-
J-Hooks
J Hooks are used in applications where sling, grab or foundry hooks are not suitable. Standard J hook dimensions are shown in the table below. Specify diameter and hook Style when ordering.
-
Foundry Sorting Hooks
Foundry Sorting Hooks are available in a standard and short version.
-
Stirrup Hooks
-
Plate Clamps
Clamps are used in lifting single or bundles of plate. They come in a variety of styles for both vertical only lifts and horizontal to vertical. Capacities range from 1/2 ton thru 100 ton with many different jaw openings depending on clamp model and manufacturer.

Plate Hooks
-
Shackles - Special
When a standard shackle doesn't fit your application.
-
Wire Rope Slings
Wire rope slings are used in construction and other industries where heavy loads and rugged conditions exist. They offer both flexibility and resistance to abrasion, but not necessarily at the same time. The more flexible the sling, the less abrasion resistant it is.
